Ground Control circa 2004
Ground Control was opened in October 2002 to retail the range of John Deere domestic products, at that time the range was smaller and it was decided to add to our portfolio of products, Kawasaki, Echo and Portechnica were added to the showroom.
With just two employees John Herron and Neale McConnell sales slowly grew.
As the first Christmas approached the John Deere merchandise range was added to Ground Control and the John Deere Christmas began !
Fast forward to 2017 and Ground Control has been forced to expand numerous times!
We now have our own Mechanic John (weejohn) and Paul Clarke in sales, John Kerr retired from sales in 2016 after 15 years of grateful service, Suzanne McConnell in merchandising sales and the web shop.
Our product portfolio has changed to include John Deere, Westwood, Shindaiwa, Echo, Karcher, Oregon, Portec, Workware (ladders), Littewonder, Classen, Mantis and Now one of the largest ranges of John Deere Merchandising in the UK available via our
